Set back in Minami-Shinagawa, Narukiya immediately stands out for its house specialty: simmered "harmonica," the flavorful cut along the dorsal fin of the tuna. The seafood roster extends well beyond that rich, slow-cooked favorite, featuring simmered sea bream, cured mackerel (shimesaba), and crisp tempura of maitake mushrooms and white-fleshed fish.
